Alysson started her first day of school on August 17th.
She was very excited until she got to her classroom and realized she didn't know anyone because it was a new school. She started getting teary-eyed and almost got me started going too. But she calmed down and put her stuff away and sat at her table. Kasey didn't get to start school the same day, but was able to meet with her teacher, Teacher Steph, and do some evaluations and get to know her a little bit.She was very sad that she could not go to school the same day as Alysson and didn't understand why she had to wait a whole week to start school.
While Kasey was doing the Kindergarten evaluation with her teacher, David and I waited in the hall with Steven. He loved playing with Tigger, the school mascot. He is definately going to be the class clown...just like Dad!
During the week that Alysson was in school and Kasey was anxiously waiting to start her Kindergarten year, Kasey was up everyday in her pajamas, waiting with Alysson for the bus to come, still very sad that she couldn't get on the bus and go to school.
Finally, August 24th came and Kasey was so excited to start school.
But now Steven is very sad that he can't get on the bus with his sisters and go to school, too!

You will love teacher steph! SHE IS THE best! SHe will do more for your child, she really sets a great start for learning! I love her! Tell her I say HI

Oh, that picture of Kasey standing outside waiting on the bus with her sister is so cute! Poor thing had to wait another loooong week for kindergarten.. Where does the bus come to pick 'em up? I'm so glad our girls are enjoying school. When did they get so big?!
Cute pictures!! Jenna was sad that she couldn't start the same day as the boys but hers was only the next day, not a week later!
So are you a lonely with the girls at school or are you LOVING your one on one Steven time? (Or a little of both?)
