Kasey has been anxiously waiting for this day to come. Today she chose to be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was very moving and emotional as a mother, to watch her make this choice. But I am so proud of her for having the courage to follow our Savior, Jesus Christ's example and be baptized.
The Spirit was so strong today as she was taught about baptism and receiving the gift of The Holy Ghost. She even became a little emotional after her baptism as she felt the Spirit, too. She was able to have grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins come and support her. Her teacher from church even came to show her love for Kasey.
We love Kasey and are so grateful for her example to our family.
