A Day at Chena Lakes

When I came home from visiting my family in GA, David had a "surprise" cookout planned for me because they weren't able to celebrate my birthday or Mother's Day with me. He invited our close friends and we went to Chena Lakes for good food, good friends and a good time!

The kids had a blast playing in the water. They found snails buried in the sand in the water and built sand castles on the beach.

Steven was so excited to be able to wear his life jacket that our neighbor gave him!

It took Olyvia a while to get used to the cold water, but when she finally decided that it was ok, we couldn't keep her away from the water!
